Description
Egg crate has a variety of uses:
- Gives support when building reefs or rock formations in marine, cichlid, turtle and aquascape set-ups.
- Gets rocks off the aquarium floor to help improve water movement, reducing ‘dead’ spots which can retain detritus and therefore reducing pollution and algae build up.
- Can be used directly on the aquarium base to protect the glass in case of rock fall.
- As a supporting grid for filter media in sumps and bespoke filters.
- It can easily be cut to any size or shape and glued or attached together.
- Marine safe.
- Suitable for use in all aquariums, paludarium, terrariums, vivariums and ponds.
