Description
This replacement metal halide lamp is manufactured with an ARC tube which is encased in an outer tube of quartz. The ARC tube operates at extremely high pressure and temperature of up to 1100°C.
As the ARC tube may rupture its recommended that these lamps are enclosed in luminaires which can withstand an ARC tube rupture.
